Radically Green – Try “No Impact Week”

Colin Beavan, the original No Impact Man’” is partnering with YES! magazine for an exciting experiment during the first week of January week to cleanse your life of all that “stuff” and get pointed in the direction of a cleaner, greener, less-cluttered lifestyle.

Starting January 2, there will be a week-long series of challenges covering different aspects [like trash, transportation, and food] designed to help reduce our environmental impact on the world. Call it it a planetary carbon cleanse. This is the kind of New Year’s resolution that can change your life for more than a month or two. Over 1500 people have already signed up worldwide, and yes, I also  signed up the day after Christmas, eager to work as best I can with this experiment.

You can still register, so you can download the online manual, but why not take a look at the article from YES!  first, so that you’ll  see what’s involved. Also, watch the video of Colin explaining the whys behind the what, and how  the“No Impact” experiment will create a monumental impact. This is a project that you don’t have to feel overwhelmed or limited about —this is your personal journey to carbon-freedom.

Check back regularly of Facebook and Twitter to see blog postings, photos, and ideas along with  words of support and encouragement. It should be quite a memorable and meaningful  week to kick off the New Year!
