More Than A Month

As the month of October draws to a close, typically associated with dates like Halloween, and Breast Cancer Awareness Month, there were lots of other special days and observances that went beyond the 31 days.  Being such a packed month,  lots of those noted themes struck my fancy to post about, but didn’t get around to. So I’ve decided to create a recurring series of postings about those days for October called, “More Than A Month.”

Often,  it  means more than a marked day, week, or month to  focus on in depth, and the series will consist of longer posts highlighting some aspect or interesting data. Among topics  chosen will be: National Book Month, National Reading Group Month, Eat Better, Eat Together Month, and National School Lunch Week.
